Scully Packing Company LLC will again be supplying pears from all three major California districts: Sacramento River and the Mountain districts of Mendocino and Lake Counties.

Scully Packing's volume this year is expected to be up slightly from last year in all districts, a result of favorable spring weather. Quality is expected to be above average and sizing is expected to be average.

Scully has a full line of pear varieties: Bartlett, Bosc, Crimson, Haley Red, Forelle, and Comice; in addition, organic Bartletts are available from Lake County.

Eighty percent of Scully's production comes from the Mountain districts. Harvest is expected to start in the Sacramento district about July 15th, with the first Mountain fruit available sometime the week of August 3.

The company maintains its own storage facility in Exeter, CA to service customers requiring consolidation with other products in the Central Valley
